Livingston County looking to fill health care openings

The Livingston County Center for Nursing & Rehabilitation (LCCNR) is holding a major employment drive to fill multiple vacant positions at the facility. These positions, both entry-level and higher, are available to qualified applicants.

LCCNR is currently offering a unique opportunity for individuals who are looking to become Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs). The Unlicensed Nursing Assistant (UNA) to CNA Program will provide paid training for employees seeking to quickly advance from a UNA to a CNA. Participants must complete either 40 days or 150 hours of employment at LCCNR to be eligible, said Marianne Miller, LCCNR Recruitment Specialist.

“This program is a fantastic opportunity to jumpstart a career in healthcare,” said Miller. “Benefits include recently increased pay rates and shift incentives. The expedited UNA to CNA Program is only being offered for a limited time, so we encourage all who are interested to apply today.”

To apply for the UNA to CNA Program, contact [email protected]. You can also call or text 585.322.2950.

In addition to multiple UNA and CNA vacancies, other available positions at LCCNR include Assistant Director of Nursing, Director of Social Work Services, Registered Nurses (RNs), Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs), Patient Care Aides (PCAs), Scheduler, Activities Aide, Medical Typist and Neighborhood Assistant.

Livingston County recently developed a recruitment video with interviews of LCCNR staff and residents describing the great atmosphere and working conditions available there. The link to the video is https://youtu.be/dbpHw6sf6Eg.

LCCNR offers 24-hour skilled nursing services ranging from short-term, post-acute rehabilitative care to traditional long-term care. Residents receive care in a manner that addresses the needs of the individual. LCCNR staff focus on turning potential into ability, discomfort into comfort. They strive to promote a home-like environment for residents with activities that involve friends, family, volunteers, and pets.

We encourage you to visit the LCCNR website for more information on its healthcare services and employment opportunities. For a complete list of positions available within Livingston County, please visit our website.
