Syracuse improved to 2-1 on Wednesday night with a 79-60 win over Morgan State (0-4) in the Carrier Dome. Led by a career night by redshirt sophomore Teisha Hyman, Syracuse scored 40 points in the paint in the win and shot 40.9 percent from the field. Hyman had a career-high 23 points becoming the first Orange to log a 20-point performance this season. Christianna Carr’s 17 points and 15 rebounds was the first double-double of the season at Syracuse.
