Police report the arrest of an Ithaca man after a domestic incident in the city.
According to police, around 11:30 p.m. officers responded to the domestic incident on West Village Place. Once on-scene, officers learned that the victim was being held against her will.
Kenneth Griffin, 36, briefly barricaded himself inside the residence, but surrendered. The female victim was taken to safety.
Griffin was charged with felony burglary, unlawful imprisonment, criminal obstruction of breathing, assault, and menacing.
Arraignment was postponed due to medical circumstances.
