Canandaigua man accused of forcible touching at Walmart store

The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Canandaigua man following an investigation into a sex offense complaint in the town of Hopewell.

According to a press release, Jeremy Smith, 44, of Canandaigua is accused of entering the dairy cooler at a Walmart store and forcibly touching the intimate parts of a co-worker.


He was taken into custody on one count of forcible touching.

The charge will be answered at a later date in local court.
