Woman pleads guilty to stealing $87,000 in social security benefits

A 58-year-old woman has plead guilty to stealing $87,000 in social security payments.

Deborah Rossoni, 58, of Lemoore Calif., has agreed to pay full restitution after admitting to stealing the money.

In July of 2012, Rossoni’s father died but the social security administration was not made aware of his death and kept depositing his checks into his account until July of 2018.

Rossoni would transfer the money to her own bank account and spend it on herself.

Rossoni is scheduled to be sentenced in Feb. of 2022.

She could face 10 years in prison with a $250,000 fine.
