Police arrested a Canandaigua man following an investigation into a domestic incident.
Three children witnessed the incident, resulting in an additional charge of endangering the welfare of a child. Police did not specify any injuries in the incident.
However, they said Dayquan Harris, 24, of Canandaigua was charged with three counts of endangering the welfare of a child, unlawful imprisonment, and criminal mischief.
The incident took place at a Park Street residence. Harris is accused of not letting another person leave the residence where the incident occurred.
He also caused damage to a door at the property.
The charges will be answered at a later date in local court.
