A study revealed that Moderna is the prevailing vaccine when it comes to preventing hospitalization within 4 months of vaccination.
The CDC reported the data from a study completed between March 11 and Aug. 15 of this year.
3,700 people in 21 hospitals throughout 18 states were involved in the study.
Moderna appears to be 93% effective when preventing hospitalization for immunocompromised adults. Pfizer was 88% effective and Johnson & Johnson was 71% effective.
The study then found that 120 days after vaccination, Moderna was 92% effective and Pfizer was 77% effective.
