On Thursday, President Joe Biden announced a list of mandates, as well as requiring around 100 million Americans to get vaccinated.
Peter Pullano, an attorney with Tully Rinckey Criminal Defense, says that mandates get court approval before becoming law.
He said before employers get caught between failing to comply but also infringing on their employee’s rights, they should try to meet them halfway to get the point they want to be without basically forcing them against their will.
In response to Biden’s mandate, L3Harris stated, “We’re reviewing the administration’s new mandate to fully understand what it means for our U.S. workforce. Once that review is complete, we’ll determine necessary changes and modify our policies accordingly to comply. We’ve applied many layers of safety at our facilities and will continue to strongly encourage all employees to vaccinate as soon as possible.”
