A Tioga County man was arrested after he allegedly pointed a shotgun at a trooper shortly before barricading himself inside of his home.
Dustin White, 35, of Candor, was arrested and charged with menacing a police officer, possession of a weapon, and resisting arrest.
Around 8 p.m. on Thursday a trooper witnessed a man walking down the street in Candor with a shotgun over his shoulder.
White then pointed the shotgun at the trooper when he was approached.
He was taken into custody around 6 a.m. the following morning after barricading himself in his home.
The situation is being investigated.
