Sheriff: Woodhull man violates court order, faces new charges in Steuben County

Steuben County Sheriff Jim Allard reports the arrest of a Woodhull man following investigation into failure to obey a stay away order of protection.

It’s alleged that Matthew Stanton, 28, was contacting a protected party in violation of that court order. When he was taken into custody- he resisted, according to deputies.

He was charged with criminal contempt, reckless endangerment, and resisting arrest.

The charges will be answered at a later date.
