Sunday, July 11, Zion Episcopal Church in Palmyra will open its new outdoor walking labyrinth from 11:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. and everyone is welcome.
The Labyrinth was created and designed by Zion treasurer Marie Fessler and constructed in a week by volunteers in the side yard of the church grounds.
Labyrinth walking is a tradition among many faiths used for quiet contemplation, prayer and spiritual peace.
The path to the center contains bricks that are inscribed in memory of loved ones the Zion’s members want to honor.
Free hot fudge brownie sundaes will be served until gone.
