The Canandaigua Police Department reports the arrest of a 56-year-old following an investigation.
Frank Garofolo, 56, of Canandaigua was charged with attempted criminal sex act.
It’s alleged that he used social media to try and lure a 14-year-old for the purpose of sexual activity.
When he attempted to meet up with the teen- he was actually meeting with a police officer who was posing as a child.
Garofolo was arrested and issued an appearance ticket.
