Three people are facing multiple felony charges after an incident that happened in the area of Logan and Janet streets in the city of Auburn on Sunday.
It happened during the early-morning hours- around 2:45 a.m., according to the Auburn Police Department- who say a suspicious incident was reported to them. A large group of individuals had been heard talking about a robbery.
Officers responded to the scene and noticed a disturbance in the 200 block of Janet Street- then several people fled. Police pursued and an investigation determined that a person was assault and menaced with a firearm.
They had money, jewelry, and other items stolen from them. Officers found a loaded 9-mm gun in the area.
Enrique Torres was charged with first-degree robbery, two counts of second-degree robbery, and one count of second-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
Anthony Torres was charged with first-degree robbery and two counts of second-degree robbery.
Deja Brown was charged with one count of first-degree robbery and two counts of second-degree robbery.
