A free child seat inspection will take place in DeWitt at the Jewish Community Center on Thompson Road in Syracuse on June 22 from 3 p.m. until 7 p.m.
Masks must be word and appointments are preferred but not required.
The event is part of Governor Cuomo’s Safety Committee aimed at keeping children safe on the roads in New York State.
There will be a second event on Wednesday, June 23 from 4 p.m. until 8 p.m. at the Manlius Police Department on Arike Albanese Avenue in Manlius.
The second event is limited to 8 available 30 minute time slots to help with social distancing. Walk-ins are welcome.
There are also free inspections by appointment year-round.
