Newark Rotary Club will take a trip in February 2022 to install water system in Mexican community

An organization of farmers and foresters in Mexico have been granted land by the Mexican government for communal use and the Newark Rotary Club is working with them to raise funds for the building materials related to the water plant and bathroom facility. Local community will provide manual labor.

The trip is planned for February of 2022 and the next phase of fundraising will begin this month. Members of the Rotary Club as well as members of the Geneva Presbytery and Palms Presbyterian Church in Jacksonville Beach, Fla. will host “Buy a Part.” This allows anyone the opportunity to support the project by purchasing a part of the equipment or water bottles that will be used to install the water plant.

The fundraiser is through the 32auctions website and parts are listed as “buy now” instead of bids. Donors will have their names placed on purchased parts when the installation trip happens.

For more information or to join the team, contact Linda Werts at (315) 447-0276. To purchase a part or water bottle, visit www.32auctions.com/Buy-A-Part_Tabi_MX.
