Palmyra man arrested after buying beer for person under 21

Investigators in Wayne County arrested a Palmyra man following a suspicious condition in the village.

Around 10:09 p.m. on Friday, deputies arrested Patrick Doran, 33, of Palmyra for first-degree unlawfully dealing with a child.




Deputies observed a suspicious vehicle enter the closed Mobile gas station in Palmyra where a hand-to-hand transaction took place.

Upon further investigation, Doran was found to have purchased a 12-pack of beer for a person under 21. The exchange took place in the parking lot.

Doran was arrested and transported to the Wayne County Jail for processing. The charges will be answered at a later date.
