Emerging artist exhibit to be hosted by Cheshire Union, submissions are open and free

The Cheshire Union will be working together with the Ontario County Arts Council to feature an exhibition of work from an emerging artist.

It is free to submit and open to all Ontario and Monroe County high school juniors and seniors, undergraduates, graduates, and anyone at the beginning of their art career.

Work must be submitted for jurying by June 12 and can be done at www.cheshireunion.com/oots.


Art will be judged by the Ontario County Arts Council and the accepted work will be on display from August 1st through 29th. The opening reception date has not yet been decided.

The Cheshire Union, a gift shop, antique center, artist studio space, classroom, and gallery is located at 4244 Route 21 in Canandaigua. The building is a converted schoolhouse that taught first through eighth grades in the hamlet of Cheshire.
