Phelps teen accused of choking woman, throwing her to the ground

Deputies say a Phelps teen was taken into custody after choking a woman and throwing her to the ground.

Alexander Kise, 18, of Phelps was arrested after an incident in Red Creek following a call to 911.

Deputies responded and spoke with the victim, who said that Kise grabbed her by the throat, threw her to the ground- and punched her several times while being in the presence of three minors.

Kise was charged with harassment, criminal obstruction of breathing, reckless endangerment and endangering the welfare of a child.

The charges will be answered at a later date.
