Chef Dominick Dardano turned the pandemic into opportunity- as his restaurant in Victor took a hit when things shut down last March.
Bistro 11 is a mainstay in Victor, but now, Two Guys Kitchen & Catering is a pretty big deal, too.
It opened in April and was viewed as an opportunity to make progress during the pandemic. It sits outside his restaurant and he serves lunches there Monday through Friday.
“Why let a pandemic go to waste? Do something with it,” Dardano told The Messenger in Canandaigua. “The pandemic really pushed me to do different things.”
Besides lunches, catering events has also been a major bump for him. This fall, he says everything will be re-evaluated- but until then, he’s sticking with the food truck business.
