Traffic stop leads to felony charges in Wayne County

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Lyons man on felony charges after a traffic stop on Water St.

According to deputies Robert DeBout, 30, was located violating a full stay away order of protection by being in the same vehicle as the protected party.

He was charged with aggravated family offense and first-degree criminal contempt- both felonies.

He was transported to the Wayne County Jail and will answer the charges at a later date.
