Deputies say a Savannah woman was taken into custody for failing to appear after being arrested on an earlier date related to a welfare fraud investigation.
Ashley Gage, 33, of Savannah was previously arrested on felony counts of welfare fraud, grand larceny and offering a false instrument for filing.
A warrant was issued for her arrest- and she was taken into custody without incident on Thursday.
The charges will be answered at a later date.
