Police in Geneva say they are investigating after an elementary school was vandalized with hate speech and symbols over the weekend.
On Sunday, investigating officers found a damaged window and floodlight- as well as carvings made on the playground of the West Street Elementary School that included swastikas, racist slurs, and an indecent image.
The playground has been cleaned up- and surveillance footage is being reviewed.
Anyone with information that could help with the investigation is asked to call the Geneva Police Department.
