Police: Waterloo pair concealed merchandise at Walmart before theft

On Friday around 3:45 p.m. police arrested two Waterloo residents following a shoplifting incident at the Walmart supercenter.

Jacob Hubbs, 24, and Teagan Jahna, 36, both of Waterloo were taken into custody after it was discovered that Hubbs concealed merchandise within other merchandise, then placed it in a shopping cart being used by Jahna.


It was further discovered that Jahna failed to pay for the merchandise in her shopping car and passed all points of sale without attempting to pay.

They were both charged with petit larceny and will answer the charge at a later date.
