The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Wolcott man following a domestic incident over the weekend.
On Friday at approximately 8 p.m. deputies arrested Daniel Gonyeau, 29, of Wolcott after he was found living at a residence with a person who had an active court order against him.
The stay away order of protection was active against Gonyeau, according to deputies, at the time of the incident.
As result, he was charged with criminal contempt.
He was transported to the Wayne County Jail and will answer the charge at a later date.
