Retired mail carrier from Walworth charged with stalking current, former employees of U.S. Postal Service

A retired mail carrier from Wayne County has been charged with stalking after an investigation into a series of letters sent out to current and former U.S. Postal Service employees.

State police say Timothy Bilak, 61, of Walworth sent out dozens of threatening letters to around 12 current and former postal service employees.

Some of the victims even received multiple letters over the last 30-60 days.

He was charged with third-degree stalking- and was processed at the Wayne County Jail. The charges will be answered at a later date.
