Seneca Falls contractor accused of taking $3,000 and not completing work in Geneva

Police say a Seneca Falls man was taken into custody in Geneva on a grand larceny charge after an investigation.

Shane Smolinski, 42, of Seneca Falls was charged with felony grand larceny.


He’s accused of stealing property from another person exceeding $3,000. Specifically, Smolinski is accused of taking the money for a contracting project, which was never completed.

The charge will be answered at a later date.
