A Farmington couple started thinking about brewing beer five years ago. That’s when David and Meagan D’Allesandro were brewing small batches of beer in their garage.
“It was fun,” David remembered. But, that wasn’t all they wanted to do. The two were working their day jobs, and slowly realized they had a dream job scenario close by.
Last summer, in the midst of a pandemic, the duo opened a full-scale brewery on South Main St. in downtown Canandaigua.
It’s called Frequentem Brewing Co., and they were recently profiled by the Finger Lakes Times. Their success has been a challenge, but the two are happier than ever with the move.
