The weather is changing.
The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for a large portion of the Finger Lakes and Southern Tier ahead of gusty winds that are expected on Wednesday.
The wind advisory is active from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Wednesday and includes Oneida, Yates, Seneca, Cayuga, Onondaga, Steuben, Schuyler, Chemung, and Tompkins counties.
The National Weather Service says west winds of 20 to 30 mph will be likely, with gusts as high as 50 mph possible.
