The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a 51-year-old Walworth man following a domestic incident.
On October 1st deputies responded to the Victims Resource Center in Newark after receiving a 911 call for family trouble.
An investigation into the incident that occurred on September 30th ensued and resulted in charges against Hillen, who was charged with first-degree criminal contempt, as a felony, and assault.
Deputies say Hillen was involved in an argument with his girlfriend, and after it escalated, struck the woman several times in the face causing injuries.
There was an active court order, which he violated, resulting in the felony charge.
Hillen was transported to the Wayne County Jail and will answer the charge at a later date.
