One hospitalized, charged with aggravated DWI after four car crash near Thruway in Seneca County

The Seneca County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a West Seneca resident following a crash at the intersection of State Route 414 and the New York State Thruway entrance in Tyre.

Deputies say the crash happened around 4:30 p.m. when Richard Fabiszewki, 30, turned in front of a southbound vehicle operated by Larry Rodas, 61, of Clyde.

The initial collision of the two vehicles in the intersection prompted Fabiszewski’s to strike two others.

The other vehicles were operated by Geoffrey Kogler, 32, of Webster, and David Gradijan, 56, of Ohio.

Fabiszewski was transported to Geneva General Hospital by North Seneca Ambulance, where he was treated and released for minor injuries.

He was charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicated, refusal to submit to a breath test, and failure to yield the right of way.

Fabiszewski was released on appearance tickets and is to appear in the Town of Tyre Court on 10/27/2020 to answer the charges.
