New York State Police say a Fulton man faces numerous charges after a teen was killed in a hit-and-run crash.
It happened in Oswego County over the weekend, according to police, who say one other person was seriously injured.
Christopher Rogers II, 29, of Fulton was traveling in a pickup truck on Route 176 in Hannibal when he struck two-of-three pedestrians that were walking on the shoulder of the road.
Kaydence Nichols, 16, was pronounced dead at the scene. Riley Trumble, 17, suffered severe injuries and is in critical condition at Upstate University Hospital.
Rogers was found a short time later and charged with second-degree manslaughter, vehicular assault, leaving the scene of a fatal motor vehicle accident, and driving while intoxicated.
Troopers are also looking to speak with the driver or occupants of a sedan that was driving closely behind the pickup truck. That sedan had South Carolina plates.
They ask anyone with information about that vehicle to contact state police at (315) 366-6000.
