Deputies: Driver airlifted from serious one-car crash in Wayne County

The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the investigation of a personal injury crash on Route 14 in Sodus.

It happened around 4:25 p.m. on Friday. As of Saturday, when a press release was sent out to local media, the crash remained under investigation.


Deputies said Angela Kadlubowski, of Solvay was traveling down Route 14 when her vehicle went off the road, struck a fence, and collided with a tree.

She was airlifted to Strong Hospital for treatment, according to deputies.

They said New York State Police, Sodus Fire Department, Wallington Fire Department, Alton Fire Department, Medic 82, Medic 83 and Ambulance 26 all assisted at the scene.
