Steuben County official accused of patronizing a prostitute

New York State Police say a man who serves on the Steuben County Legislature has been arrested on charges related to patronizing a prostitute.

Steve Maio, 55, was charged with third-degree patronizing a prostitute, according to State Police.

They say he was issued an appearance ticket.

The charge will be answered in Hornsellsville Town Court.

When media reached out to Maio for comment he referred them to his attorney.
