High-level felony arrests made after special investigation, search in Phelps

Sheriff Kevin Henderson reports the arrest of two Phelps residents on felony drug charges after an investigation by the Special Investigations Unit.

Timothy Wright, 32, and Alicia Wright, 33, both of Phelps were charged with second-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, which is a Class A felony.

The charges stem from an investigation during which Timothy and Alicia sold approximately one ounce of Methamphetamine to another person in the Town of Phelps on July 29th.


In addition, investigators executed a search warrant at their residence in Phelps and located more Methamphetamine, US Currency, and approximately 4 lbs. of marijuana.

The defendants were arraigned in Ontario County CAP Court and released.

Additional charges are being presented to an Ontario County Grand Jury. The Seneca County and Wayne County sheriff’s offices were involved in the investigation, as well as the Geneva Police Department.
