A local road that sits behind the Ontario County Courthouse will be renamed.
The Ontario County Board of Supervisors gave the green light to change the name of Court Street to Susan B. Anthony Lane.
The famed woman suffragist was convicted of attempting to vote in that courthouse in 1873.
City officials had inquired about the possibility of renaming the street in recent meetings.
Now it appears as though it will happen in the coming months.
