The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Palmyra man following an investigation into a domestic incident.
Deputies say Matthew Miller, 34, was charged with criminal contempt, criminal mischief, resisting arrest, and obstructing governmental administration.
They say Miller forcibly closed a door on deputies and physically resisted arrest when being taken into custody on the contempt and mischief charges.
Deputies say the entire investigation began when 911 received a call from a female victim who was hiding from her boyfriend at an apartment.
Miller was transported to the Wayne County Jail and will answer the charges at a later date.
