What will college campuses look like when they return in the fall?
The union that represents SUNY employees has a new set of guidelines.
Those include mandatory and recurring virus testing for everyone on campus, contact tracing, isolation measures and social distancing restrictions.
SUNY campuses closed in mid-March, and have not yet been given the green light by Gov. Andrew Cuomo to reopen, despite economic activity ramping up.
He previously announced that there would be no in-person summer classes, and no announcement has been made yet about fall classes. Some are planning for a late start, while others are looking at a bleak outcome if unable to reopen with students on campus in the fall.
