The International Joint Commission has a new committee that will look at ways to fix the outflow problem associated with Lake Ontario.
The IJC says the 16-member Great Lakes-St. Lawrence River Adaptive Management Committee will be tasked with providing an expedited review of Plan 2014.
There has been devastating flooding along the lake in two of the last four years.
The IJC contends that building the committee was born out of necessity due to public concern associated with flooding.
