Pursuit in Ontario County leads to variety of charges against Victor driver

Deputies report the arrest of a 20-year-old Victor man following a pursuit in Ontario County.

The Ontario County Sheriff’s Office reports that deputies attempted to stop Gage Dalton, 20, of Victor on Brace Road for unauthorized use of emergency lights.

At that point, Dalton led deputies on a pursuit before crashing at the intersection of McCann Road and County Road 30.

He was arrested for unlawful fleeing in a motor vehicle, as well as criminal possession of a weapon.

An additional charge of criminal mischief is also pending due to ‘extensive damage’ caused by the crash.

Deputies say a number of vehicle and traffic tickets were also issued. All of the charges will be answered in Victor Town Court.
