‘HELP WANTED’: Officials say two positions are open as of January 2020
– By Josh Durso
Officials in Romulus are seeking out new members for vital public positions.
Deputy Supervisor Mike Joslyn says the vacancies include one spot on the Romulus Planning Board following the resignation of Mary Joslyn. Her term concluded, and she did not seek another on the board.
It’s an appointed position with a term of seven years.
“The Town Board also has one seat open as Councilman Kyle Collinsworth has left the board to take his new position as Town Justice for the Town of Romulus,” Deputy Supervisor Joslyn said in an email to FingerLakes1.com.
That position will be filled by appointment to complete the remainder of this year’s term. A special election will be held in the fall to determine the permanent appointee to that position for the remainder of the years left on the erm.
Those interested in applying for the positions must be Town residents. A letter of interest should be submitted to the Romulus Town Clerk’s office.
