Seneca Falls woman facing felony charges after being found asleep behind the wheel at local school

A local woman was arrested on felony charges after an incident at a Seneca Falls school on Wednesday.

The Seneca Falls Police Department reports the arrest of 35-year-old Nicole Macomber, of Seneca Falls following an investigation at Frank Knight Elementary School.

Police say they were called to the school for the report of a person asleep in a running vehicle. The vehicle was parked in a handicap parking spot.

After an investigation it was determined that Macomber was operating the vehicle under the influence of drugs. She was arrested and issued uniform traffic tickets for felony DWI and felony DWAI due to a previous conviction in 2019.

She’s scheduled to appear on January 30th to answer the charges.
