The Wayne County Sheriff’s Office reports the arrest of a Williamson man following a traffic stop after his vehicle was observed traveling all over the roadway.
Deputies charged Thomas Pechler, 47, of Williamson with failure to keep right, driving while intoxicated, refusal to take a breath test, and uninspected motor vehicle.
Pechler is accused of traveling east on Lake Road, crossing the fog line, and nearly leaving the roadway. He then over-corrected and crossed the center line – failing to maintain his lane, according to deputies.
Deputies say Pechler was transported to the Wayne County Sheriff’s Office for processing. He was issued appearance tickets and will answer the charges at a later date.
