Deputies report the arrest of a Victor driver following a one-vehicle crash at the intersection of County Road 9 and Valentown Road.
William Schoff, 61, of Victor was arrested around 11:04 p.m. after deputies responded to the scene of the crash – finding his vehicle in a ditch at the intersection.
Deputies say that 61-year-old was passed out inside the vehicle. Investigation determined that Schoff struck a mailbox on Valentown Road before traveling off the roadway, and coming to rest in the ditch.
He was found to be intoxicated and charged with DWI, aggravated DWI, leaving the scene of a property damage accident, failure to keep right, operating without a license, and issued other citations.
The charges will be answered at a later date.
