State Police say upwards of 20 vehicles were involved in a crash near the Weedsport exit of the New York State Thruway.
While no injuries were reported – at least four or five tractor-trailers, as well as 10-15 passenger vehicles were involved.
The series of wrecks occurred between exits 39 and 40.
The National Weather Service had issued a Squall Warning, and a Winter Weather Advisory was active at the time of the crash, too.
Traffic was significantly backed up on the Thruway.
At least one of the lanes was temporarily closed as first responders worked over that stretch.
