A Farmington man is continuing his tradition of decorating for the holidays to help others.
Bruce Raggi’s display on Buckskin Drive is famous around town. He starts putting up his lights after Halloween. They’re set to music, delighting passers-by from 4:30 to 11 p.m. every day.
Many of his neighbors now join in, setting up displays of their own.
Raggi collects donations from spectators for charity. Last year, he raised $9,000 for a fund that helps people pay their medical bills.
This year, he is donating to the family of Rochester Police Officer Manny Ortiz, who died earlier this year.
