Police: Driver possessed marijuana, switchblade in Seneca Falls

Following a traffic stop in Seneca Falls, two people were charged after drugs and a switchblade were discovered by police.

The Seneca Falls Police Department arrayed Harley Gurule, 33, of Irving. Gurule was found to be in possession of marijuana and a switchblade.

Police say Garule was subsequently charged with speeding, failure to keep right, moving from lane unsafely, unlawful possession of marijuana, and criminal possession of a weapon.

Meanwhile, a passenger in the vehicle – identified as 21-year-old Darren VanEvery, of Seneca Falls was found to be in possession of marijuana. He was ticketed for unlawful possession.

Both were issued appearance tickets and will answer the charges at a later date.
