Authorities say one person is in custody after an attempted bank robbery in the Village of Cato on Tuesday.
According to The Citizen, authorities were alerted about an attempted bank robbery shortly after 1 p.m.
Within an hour a suspect, who was riding a bicycle at the time, was taken into custody.
During the search, police surrounded the village – checking security footage, and neighborhoods for the attempted burglar.
No additional information was immediately available from law enforcement.
