Pair of thefts lead to felony charges in Seneca County

After a pair of thefts at a local Walmart store, two Wayne County women were arrested on felony charges.

Police say that on Monday, September 30th around 3:26 p.m. 18-year-old Mararet Gould, and 21-year-old Nicole Foote, both of Williamson were arrested following a larceny investigation at Walmart in Seneca Falls.

Police say that on July 18th the two women entered the store and stole over $1,000 in merchandise. The initial report was not made immediately, according to police, but upon receiving the call an investigation was initiated.



On September 30th the duo re-entered the store and were recognized by loss prevention staff in the store.

Police say that for a second time, the two women were spotted exiting the store with more than $1,000 of stolen merchandise.

Both were charged with two counts of felony grand larceny, and conspiracy.

They were processed and will answer the charges at a later date in Seneca Falls Town Court.
