A program offered through the Wayne-Finger Lakes BOCES has a new home in Newark.
The Pathways Technology Early College High School (PTECH) was unveiled Thursday on Technology Parkway in Newark next to the Finger Lakes Community College campus in the town. P-TECH used to be in the Phelps-Clifton Springs School District.
The new location allows students to attend the classes in which they are enrolled. Students enrolled in the program have workplace internships for high-skilled and in-demand jobs. Once students successfully complete the six-year curriculum, they receive an Associate’s Degree from FLCC.
