The Auburn Fire Department says that it took upwards of one hour to rescue a person who fell down an embankment along the Owasco River in Auburn Monday evening.

First responders were dispatched to the scene on Owasco Street around a Sunoco gas station.

The person who fell down the embankment was reportedly a male, in his 30s.
